There was a park at the top of a hill behind my house that I spent a lot of time wandering through and enjoying the view of my new city. Being young and broke, that mostly meant taking long walks and enjoying what little nature I could find.
My job wasn't your typical 9-5, and I found myself with lots of free time and nothing to do, so I took to exploring my new neighborhood. My living situation wasn't ideal, too many people crammed into a small house to help cut down on the rent. I'd recently moved to a new city for my job and didn't know many people.
